Two years ago, Will, Ira and their little daughter left the USA to start a new life in NZ.
We first interviewed this lovely couple (who are members of the NZ Ahead Slack community) a year ago, when things were proving very difficult. They were living in a damp, mouldy house, had spent every cent of their savings to get to Invercargill, and six weeks after settling their daughter, Vera, into school, Will lost his job.
Now, two years later, we are back for a further update. We want to know what they did next. Where are they living now? Was it worth leaving everything behind in America? And most importantly...are they happy?
